I have a Flex Wash machine that’s probably 5 or so years old (model WV60M9900AV) and the plastic tab that clicks in and locks the inner upper door has broken off. It’s just a plastic tab with slight hook on the end and it broke clean in two. So now the upper washer cannot be run at all since it gives error code now saying the door is not securely locked.  Any thoughts on how I can fix this? Is entire door replacement needed? The tab looks integral to the assembly though I’d love to upgrade it to metal tab if possible…

I have the same problem. I was told the entire door needs to be replaced and that will cost about $900! I’m not ready to give up. That’s almost as much as a new washer and everything works except this tiny plastic piece. Did you ever find out how to fix it?

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing the same problem!  The only fix I’ve found so far is that I epoxy glued the plastic tab part back on where it broke off. Gorilla glue makes a two part super-glue type epoxy that I’m using. I glued it on once before and it detached after 2 uses so on my 2nd try I made sure I had firm contact and tried regluing  the break with full contact along broken edge. (First time I glued I didn’t have it fully adhered and not quite in complete alignment with the fell length of the break.)  we’ll see how it goes!  I’m also babying the door and closing and latching it very softly.
I agree $900 for new door is crazy! At the very least the replacement tab should be metal so it’s more sturdy so I can’t see spending that much for new door that would likely just break again in same way.
I have a hunch we’ll just stick to using the bottom washer and probably rarely if ever use the top washer in future.
(p.s. I was at big box store yesterday and noticed there were no dual washers like this model on the floor. I’m thinking all the manufacturers are sticking to single washers instead now which given this issue is a good idea I’d say!)
