Washers and DryersMy front loading washing machine is just a few years old. Recently, after each wash, there is a water buildup at the bottom of the door seal. I have to use a sponge at least three or four times to manually drain the water so that mold doesn’t happen. There is a lot of water released each time I squeeze the sponge. I do washing machine self clean on a regular basis. Any suggestions for fixing this problem?

Washers and DryersHello! I completely understand your frustration with the washer having water in the seal of the door, I'll be more than delighted to assist with this issue. Does the door leak only when you use the self-clean cycle or does it happen in other cycles as well? Can you inspect the drain hose on the back and its connection to the unit to see if there is any damage to the hose? Just make the machine is off, pull the washer out and you should see the hose connected to the back.
Additionally, here is a link you might find helpful: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01000977/
If that doesn't resolve the issue the washer will require service. Because you stated the unit is a few years old more than likely the unit will be out of warranty. Please reach out to a local service center in your area to obtain estimates for repairs. http://www.samsung.com/us/
