I read that I can set up dispenser 2 as general laundry detergent as we have 2 different types we use at the house...one for adults and one for baby clothes. However I don't know how can I turn on or turn off dispenser 1 or dispenser 2 to use only the desire dispenser. Thanks for any help or explanation to this question.

Thanks for the reply. I went to the user manual, but it does not says anything regarding how to enable or disable each dispenser separately. The model I bought is WH46DBH500EV. In the smart Things app I can turn off or turn on both, but not separately.
Yes, that is correct the on/off function is available and in fact, the manual states you can set this dispenser to dispense detergent (General or Specialty) or softener however it does not offer separate options as mentioned. The hub does offer great additional features, and we definitely understand the mentioned options is not available at the moment, however so many more are. So, then in what is the purpose of putting dispenser 2 as a general detergent if I cannot use it when I want it?right now I have dispenser 2 as a general detergent, but the machine always used the dispenseru1. You are more than welcome. It is stated as such because you absolutely can use it as a general detergent dispenser to release during the cycle, and certain cycle even allow you to delay the detergents release from that specific dispenser as stated. The 2nd dispenser can be used to add laundry care items such as fabric softener or spot cleaners for sports or grass stains, but it cannot operate separate as referenced.
