We love our Samsung washer but we have an issue. We get a very small puddle of water under it. We had a trusted appliance repairman come out and he showed us that the dispenser housing was slightly leaking out the back. The seal between the top of the housing and the bottom of the housing had broken in one small spot. The model number of the replacement housing is:
dc97 - 21472a
It's my understanding that this housing is no longer being manufactured and that I will need to go to ebay or other sites. Any other suggestions on how to fix this?
As a temporary fix our repairman has lowered the cold water pressure that enters the chamber. And if we cannot get a replacement housing he will apply some silicon adhesive to the area.
Any advice you have is greatly appreciated. Is there a new model number that maybe we don't know about?
