I have A16 5G. Idk who came up.with the absolutely terrible idea of swiping the side of your palm across the screen to take a screenshot but I haven't been able to take a screenshot without having to swipe the side of my palm across the screen multiple times. Any other ways to screenshot? Does anyone have any ideas?

Push the volume down and power button simultaneously and release them immediately, should make the screen flash for a second indicating a screenshot was captured.

You should also have a screenshot icon in the quick panel. If it's not there, it may be one if the hidden icons and you'd have to edit the quick panel to add it.

The a16 series does not support the app shade icon for screenshots.

Unfortunately, many of those actions do not work on the a16 series.

If you're having trouble with the palm swipe gesture on your Galaxy A16 5G, there are other ways to take a screenshot:

1. Button Combination: Press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button simultaneously for about a second to take a screenshot.

2. Assistant Menu: You can enable the Assistant menu, which provides an on-screen button for screenshots.

Go to Settings > Accessibility > Interaction and dexterity, and turn on Assistant menu. This will add an icon on your screen that you can tap to take a screenshot.

3. Bixby Voice: If you prefer voice commands, you can use Bixby to take a screenshot. Just say, "Hey Bixby, take a screenshot."

These alternatives should make it easier without having to rely on the palm swipe gesture.
