You have to go into your settings the gear shaped option icon and then locate the section for either "security" or "screen" and you'll find a Section under those that says "screen lock" and then upon entering that you will find options that will allow you to turn off the screen lock it will ask you for your password or your screen lock code in order to disable the screen lock in the first place
