Cannot access my files after update for A02s?

I cannot access my files on my Samsung A02s after recent update. Every time I click on app it doesn't respond. Doesn't even seem to open. Tried to open going through settings and can't access it that way either. I have very important downloads and documents I NEED to access asap! Extremely upset. My service provider is StraightTalk

Also, if Samsung's My Files doesn't work, download a shortcut to the Android system Files app from the Play Store. Here's the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.marc.files
