Why do you need a backup?

I work with a Destination Management Company. So we move (providing transportation) large to very large Corporate Companies. I have tons and tons of phone numbers (from clients, account managers, program managers, luxury car drivers, bus drivers, etc.) that I need to be in contact with all the time. I have a backup phone just in case my main phone dies on me, I can just move the sim card to it and have phone service again in just few minutes.
