Does anyone know what to do if on a Galaxy A54 phone the gallery keeps getting divided, the location of the dates and also the photos so it's not organized?

@yosf You might want to post a screenshot so that we can see what you are trying to describe.

It groups photos from different dates that go up and down and the position changes. Photos from today are on top of photos from a year agoIMG-20241006-WA0011_1000055913_1728236423.jpg

So you want it arranged from new ones on top and the old on the bottom?

By Default it should be newest on top and older on bottom. How did this even happen?

It's been a year since he bought the phone, he's been trying to go to the store and couldn't fix it. Does anyone have an idea?

Also I notice that you have Force RTL layout direction on. Can you turn it off. It might slove the issue.

If you are in the camera roll album (or any album), tap the 3 dots and choose one of the sort options. You have sort by date created (ascending or descending, date modified (ascending or descending), name (A-Z or Z-A).  There is also a slider to group by date that you can turn on, so all the photos taken on a given date will be grouped together. The (all) pictures view does not have these sort options but are, by default, grouped by date - newest on top with date headers between groups.  My gallery does not show pictures all lumped together like that in "pictures" view. As you can see, it's grouped by date. Also an A54 (U.S. Version).  Again, organizing the photos into Albums is the best way to organize them the way you want.

Why don't you just organize into albums and choose sort by date within the album and turn on the slider to group by date if you want them odered.
