I think you are correct. I was told by t-mo tech I am receiving the full 5G speed. I think the UC is kind of a gimmick. I just felt faster (haha) I miss it after the samsung software update took it away.

What uhq said sounded a lot like what t-mo tech was telling me. In the end they said I was receiving UC even though phone doesn't show it. Maybe they were just trying to get me off the phone.

I don't know- 5G is still fast maybe not as fast as UC but it doesn't really matter.

I have the exact same issues my UC disappeared after the software update too and I have the a53 from metropcs too...I was going crazy taking my phone to unbreakable ifix and they say everything is fine
