My Samsung galaxy mobile phone doesn't show available WiFi networks, why?

My Samsung galaxy A12 android mobile phone doesn't show available lists of WiFi networks. I am unable to scan for available WiFi networks. What should I do?

If wifi is turned on but you're still not receiving wifi networks, it might be worth rebooting the phone.

My opinion is: it is to do with SAMSUNG...has taken control of my phone AND...I have been getting messages for about 5 months. SAYING: They are going to "SHUT MY PHONE DOWN" and I have had this phone for about 2- 1/2 yrs
They do not want me using Google either, now have even more difficulties!!
YOU BET...I AM MAD & NO MORE SAMSUNG!??

My suggestion is get a new phone...NOT A SAMSUNG!! I AM GOING TO!!

@Andmo Have you tried resetting the Network settings?

phone settings -> General management -> Reset -> Reset network settings
