Have you cleared the cache, updated everything? It could be an app causing the latency, if you can recall when this started you could try and check if you got any new apps at that time. Sorry you're going through that.

Could put apps in deep sleep and change the brightness to adaptive.

To switch over use the smart switch yo transfer

Try clearing up the storage. Use a trusted cleanup app like Norton Clean, Google files, AVG cleaner or CCLEANER to help find large files. Also clearing the cache is helpful too just put it in recovery mode and hit cache clean
