A Series & Other MobileI have the Samsung Galaxy A35.
It doesn't matter if I turn off the screen or leave it on before putting the phone in my pocket, every now & then, the phone's camera will take 1 or more screenshots.
I've checked the the camera's Settings & cannot find anything that may help.
The About Camera shows a Snap Inc. Privacy Policy (so I assume the camera is associated with Snap Chat?); but if I tap Contact Us, I am sent to Samsung Members.
I'd like to know:
1. Why the camera takes automatic screenshots
2. If there is a problem with the phone/camera
3. If there is anything I can do to stop this

A Series & Other MobileI checked my settings &:
1. My side button double-click is set to open the Samsung Calendar.
2. On-body detection is set to Off.
3. Show palm was turned On. I turned it Off.
Hopefully that's where my situation came from & will stop now.
Thank you for the reply & information.

A Series & Other MobileI am having a similar problem.
I am getting notifications (which is weird, because most of my notifications are turned off, and I don't know why/how I'm getting them) asking if I want to see my screenshots from today, even though I haven't taken any. When I look at it, it's a random screenshot taken of MY phone screen. I looked in my Gallery, and there were about a dozen of these, going back almost 2 weeks. Several were of my home page, others were from various activities that I had been engaged in, such as games, surfing, and one was a screenshot of what looks like my phone keypad, with various numbers and ** across the top, and "emergency call" above that, which was definitely not taken by me, even accidentally, as I have never seen that before. Do you know what's going on? Does someone have access to my phone?
I saw what you said to do, and did it. However, it's not a random picture of the inside of a pocket or purse or whatever, it is a random screenshot of MY phone's screen, when I'm using it and not taking screen shots (Yes, I am sure, not even accidentally.). Also, why am I getting notifications, that are turned off, and who is sending them? Should I send you a copy of the screen shot I am talking about? I've deleted most of the others, but this one is so weird that I kept it.

A Series & Other MobileI didn't delete the Lock Screen Camera icon shortcut, but I'm not getting unattended screenshots.
I did turn off both Palm Swipe (Settings>Advanced Features>Motion & Gestures>Palm Swipe to Capture) & Show Palm (Camera Settings>Shooting Methods>Show Palm) options & 1 of those seems to have done the trick. I'm not getting unattended screenshots anymore.
Not sure which did the trick, but it's not important for me to find out.
