Samsung Messages app: some people not receiving text

Some of my recipients don't receive any of the messages I send. How can I fix that?

Might have something to do with the impending discontinuation of Samsung Messages. They won't be supporting it. Users will need to migrate to Google Messages.

It's not being discontinued... they are only pushing folks to Google Messages for a more enriched RCS experience. I'm using Samsung Messages with full RCS/Chat Settings on my Flip6 (AT&T). Stop telling people it's being discontinued when it is not.

Their pushing you to Google Messages because they are not going to support Samsung Message app much longer. The RCS chat is a feature enhancement that has been updated.

I think they will be still supporting their app for a while.. having both S24U and Flip6 the Samsung messages apps are different versions allowed.. the independent one for Flip6 has full chat settings with TOS redirecting to Jibe TOS, whereas on my S24U where it's baked into the system it only supports carrier to carrier RCS (advanced messaging) ..barely. the only thing missing on flip6 is tapback in Samsung Messages - I get RCS working with anyone on RCS (iPhone or Google Messagss) using Samsung Messages on my flip .

Perhaps with One UI 7 they are preparing to detach Messages for everyone to push the standalone that Flip6 a d Fold6 users are able to use.

It's from your carrier. It's a hit and miss that always happens. Texting is not reliable on any app
