ComputersI’ve been a loyal Samsung customer for years and have always appreciated their innovative designs and reliable products. That’s why I didn’t hesitate to purchase the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 on 11th October 2024, hoping it would live up to the high standards I’ve come to expect. Unfortunately, my experience with this device has been nothing short of disappointing.
Despite using the laptop exclusively in my office, with no travel or rough handling, the screen cracked after simply opening and closing the lid during normal use. I’ve never dropped the laptop or subjected it to any stress—it has only been used as intended. This is shocking for a premium device marketed as a durable and professional tool.
After doing some research, I found that this isn’t an isolated issue. Many other users have reported the same problem, which appears to stem from extremely thin and fragile screen glass in this series. This design flaw makes the laptop highly prone to damage, even during everyday use, which is completely unacceptable for a product in this price range.
What’s even more frustrating is the thought of being asked to pay for repairs when the root cause of the problem is clearly poor product quality and design. A laptop in this category should be able to withstand normal use without the screen cracking!
I urge Samsung to take responsibility for this issue and offer free repairs or replacements for affected customers. Furthermore, I hope they will re-evaluate their design choices in future models to ensure that customers don’t face similar frustrations.
If you’re considering buying the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, think twice and look into these reports. For now, I can only hope Samsung steps up and resolves this issue for those of us who trusted in their product.
