@Coronado1527 Sorry I didn't notice that you were asking specifically for AOD.
In Settings -> Lock screen -> Always On Display -> Screen orientation. Unfortunately you have to select either Portrait or Landscape. It won't auto rotate.
My S22 ultra stopped auto rotation with button on or off won't rotate at all. If I go to you tube through Google and watch a video must hit large picture it will rotate for video and when I go back to Google by hit back Google home screen is locked sideways and have to close and reopen to get screen straight again. Very frustrating 😕
