You could always try adding a shortcut and add the number of spaces you to tab, followed by a word or symbol to let you know it's a tab. Under keyboard settings/shortcuts I believe.

Fold & Flip Phones@userJKLbOBIrxh Samsung has a Keys Cafe application. It is part of their Good Lock application. Both can be found in the Galaxy store and are free. You can use it to add a Tab key and make a lot of other customizations to your keyboard.
- Open Keys Cafe.
- Click on Make your own keyboard
- Click the + sign
- Click on Edit
- Swipe the selection of icons at the top to the left until you get to the ones shown in my screenshot. Or click on the icon with a ruler and pencil.
- Drag the tab key icon to where you want it on the keyboard.
- Click the checkmark icon in upper right to save the keyboard.
- Name the keyboard. It is automatically applied.
