Unable to complete verification

My inner screen went bad and they sent me a replacement.  I'm setting up my phone, and I need to transfer my photos and reinstall my apps from my old phone to the new one.  The problem is, I need to verify my new phone using my old phone so they can transfer.  With no inner screen, I cannot see what is going on.  Any suggestions?  What can I do so that I can see my phone's screen and interact with it?

You can use samsung DEX for screen mirroring. Connect your old phone to a computer or TV using a USB-C cable. If your phone supports Samsung DeX, you can interact with your phone's interface on the larger screen.

How do I get Dex?  Is it a computer program?

If the new phone has the same phone number, you can have google text you a code to verify. If you dont have the same phone number, you can change it from a computer, laptop, etc....

I'm guessing that you have a Flip. Unfortunately DEX is not supported on the Flip.
