There is a problem with the Galaxy Z Fold 3 phone that there is sound when folding but when flipping, the media and calling sound is not working.

As a troubleshooting step, try booting in safe mode. To boot in safe mode, https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/ If the device works while booted in safe mode, the issue is caused by 3rd party software.
If that doesn't identify the solution, contact Samsung Care+ if you have it or Samsung support if you don't.
