Galaxy Buds

Hi!

I was hoping to get some assistance. I currently have an iPhone 12 and have been using a set of Samsung Galaxy earbuds without an issue. In fact, I love the sound quality and noise cancelling ability of them.

I recently got the Bora Purple Galaxy Pro buds and was attempting to add them to the app (the Samsung Galaxy app) and was told that I had to clear the older earbuds from it.

However, it can’t read the new buds. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times and it still doesn’t work.

The new buds themselves work perfectly fine  and without issue but I just can’t control them from the app.

The most recent update in the App Store is from quite a while ago. Is it possible that this is the issue? Thanks for any insight.

Yep. I can try it again and report back to see if that will work.

*The Galaxy Earbuds app is the one I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times

If that doesn't work, I highly recommend posting this concern in the Apple Community forums. They will have more reliable info to resolve this problem there. Not many individuals have much experience with iPhones in the Samsung Community.

Hello PhoenixAzure, We are happy to hear you enjoy your Galaxy earbuds.

Unfortunately, the Galaxy Wearable app only supports the Buds+ and Buds Live for iOS.

The Buds Pro should still connect to the phone through Bluetooth. However, the features would not be available through the app. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00086702/
