My Calendar was not included in Samsung Cloud backup

I have backed up my Note 8 to Samsung Cloud, but the calendar wasn't included. Can anyone tell me why?

@sandyterry When you did the backup, did you enable the Calendar backup?

Also, where your calendar items actually stored on your phone? or were they stored in your Google account?

To back up my phone on Samsung Cloud, I chose the option "All." I've been syncing the calendar with Google and Microsoft. Google won't store for Verizon phones, so it says. Microsoft won't store Samsung Calendar either, it seems.

When you created a calendar event, what storage location did you choose?

I don't look every time, but the default seems to be Google.

@sandyterry Samsung Cloud won't backup items stored in your Google account. And it isn't needed. Once you log into your Google account in the Samsung Calendar all of those events will appear.

I looked on Google, which I sync to, and many of my event entries are not there. This happened on my previous Samsung phone years ago also.
