No alarm when S pen is left behind

I just realized that when I take my S pen out of the phone and I leave it behind the alarm does not go off.  Will there be a fix for this issue soon?

It says show an alert but I don't even get a popup that shows that I left it, that was what my note 9 and 10 did.

Go to:

Settings | Advanced features | S Pen

Verify that Pen proximity alert is on.

Bluetooth has a 20 ft range that can be extended by being indoors, I dont get notification that I dont have my watch on until I am at my stairwell in my apartment, so you may need to get quite a distance away from your S Pen before the chime happens.
