Galaxy Note PhonesLearn how to wipe the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G using the hardware keys. If the device is not working correctly, you may need to master reset it and also clear the cache partition. These two resets clear different parts of the device storage. Unlike a master reset, wiping the cache partition does not delete your personal data.
Wipe cache partition instructions:
1) Turn off the device.
2) Press and hold the Volume Up key, then press and hold the Side key (power).
3) When the Samsung logo displays, release the Side key (power), but continue holding Volume Up.
4) When the Android Recovery screen appears, release Volume Up.
5) An 'Installing system update' message may show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
6) Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
7) Press Power (side) key to select.
😎 Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power (side) key to select.
9) When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
10) Press the Power (side) key to restart the device.
