My ring lights up red after I put into sleep. I wake up and all 3 indicator lights are on. 2 green and 1 red. Is that normal?

My battery is over 90% charged. Only happens when I wake up in morning. Don't know how long it's been on because I was asleep. Is this normal?

@lazyfool I'm pretty sure that those are just the sensors taking readings.

Red light supposed to mean less than 15% battery and need to charge?20240828_062508_1000013386_1724840710.jpg20240828_062516_1000013387_1724840718.jpg1724841599582.jpg

@lazyfool I believe that is true only when you have it on the stand.

@GaryB82 can you provide more insight?

The red light being on while wearing the ring is normal that's one if the sensor checking pulse and blood oxygen levels I believe. It will blink when your checking the battery level when not wearing it also

Hello,

I have been experiencing the same issue for a few nights now.

I have been trying to work this issue with Samsung Technical Support but it has been a nightmare, only answers that do not make any sense.

So, I noticed that all 3 lights, 2 green and 1 red, remains lit all night long. It is not that it will lit for a couple seconds and turn off, the ring keeps all 3 ON like for 8 hours in a row.

As much as I would like to believe that it is standard behavior as the Samsung Tech said, I would love to have it lit the led lights on and off after the readings.

To me, it sounds like this is an issue! at night, during sleep time in a dark environment, the 3 led lights on are terrible noticiable.

I saw some people talking about it on reddit  and they mentioned they ended up returning the ring.          https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyRing/comments/1eijeqo/all_leds_on/

I am about to return mine but just want to give it one more try and see if everyone else could bring more info from their experience before going ahead and returning it.

Thanks!

They said it's normal so I don't really pay attention to it anymore. I just wish Samsung could have let us know instead of letting us freak out

Anyone experiencing the same situation that your ring's all 3 sensor lights are on during sleep hours?

Mine are on after I am in bed, usually between 11p and 8a next day.  They are not on and off during the sleep hours but constantly on.  They will turn off unless 1) or 2) below:

1) I take off the ring, the red light turns off first, then the green blinks and then all lights are off.  They all come back on after some time after I wear my ring back on my finger (still in bed).

2) In the morning, after waking up, I turn on bluetooth to sync, then all lights are off.

- This does not happen during daytime or when I am not in bed.

- I have found some replies saying that the ring is taking data; however, the lights are on all night, unless I take it off mentioned in #1 above.

What does this mean?  Please share any insights.

Thanks!
