How do I find a list of all of the devices that my phone is currently connected to and to see the limits of the range these devices as well? If I turn off scan for nearby devices will that stop it from connecting to things?

Galaxy S PhonesRange is dependent on whether your device is connected via wi-fi or Bluetooth. BT devices have a range of max 50 feet and is dependent on whether there is any interference (walls, large objects) between the device and the phone. If connected via wi-fi, the range would be the size of your domain. If it's connected via cloud services, the range would be unlimited as long as long as the cloud is active.

Galaxy S Phonesnot necessarily. Smart Things also lists compatible devices from other manufacturers. Not every smart device is compatible with or has agreements with Smart Things. Most of those manufacturers have their own apps and those apps can be used to control your devices from wherever you are. Certain security cameras, doorbells, etc. I have remote controlled shades that are not compatible with Smart Things, but are compatible with Alexa, but I mostly control them from away with its own app. Smart Things, I believe, is controlled within the Samsung Cloud, so as long as you are logged into your Samsung account, you can control your smart devices from anywhere - even at sea (assuming you bought an internet package).
