How to set favorites on my messages

Does anyone know how to put the "favorites" names back in alphabetical order by first name in messages? I did an update today and now my names are all scrambled.

I just accepted an update on 9/30/21 on my Galaxy S20 FE and after the restart my Favorites are no longer in alphabetic order.  Choosing the option to Reorder Favorites does nothing.  What did Samsung do in this update that messed up the sorting of Favorites and when are they are going to fix it?
