The Secure Folder is a place to store your photos, videos, files and apps that you want to keep private. Protected by password.

Thanks for editing the title.
It sounded like you wanted to know what's the secure folder was for.
I use it mostly for pics and some personal files.

I, personally, do not use it.  I cannot think of a single reason why I would.  My phone is already secured with a password and I do not ever let anyone have access to it where I cannot see what they are doing with it and what they are looking at.

Same files and photos you want to keep private. Secure folder is an extra layer of security.

I use it for sensitive personal information. I have banking and credit card apps installed there, some scans of personal documents, etc.

Be aware that some apps may not work properly with the Secure Folder's security. I used to have a credit card app that wouldn't log in properly when installed to the Secure Folder, but the credit card app was eventually patched and now works fine.

Using Secure Folder requires setting up a second passcode to access the Secure Folder, but I think the extra security is well worth it.
