Can't create an album in Gallery after update

Since last update it seems I can't create an album in Gallery. Is there a workaround?

Have you tried rebooting into recovery mode and clearing the cache and then running the repair apps option?

I just no longer get an option to create an album.

@Dobeluvr When happens when you try this:

1. In the Gallery, click Albums along the bottom of the screen. 
2. Click the + button near the top right of the screen. 
3. Select Album

What happens when you try this:

1. In the Gallery, make sure Pictures is selected along the bottom of the screen. 
2. Long press on a photo until the selection circle pops up. 
3. Select the photos you want in the new Album.
4. Click the 3 dot menu in lower right.
5. Click Move to album (or Copy to album)
6. Click Create in upper right
