Galaxy S21
My Galaxy S21+ running Android 14 and OneUI 6 will not connect to ethernet. I got an Anker USB-C to ethernet adapter and when I plug it in the ethernet option in the more connections settings page gets un-greyed and the adapter lights up for a split second after it's been plugged in for about a second, but when I switch ethernet to on it says connecting to ethernet and it quits. I do have ethernet tethering on if that helps.

The Ethernet cable I was using was faulty. That was the problem.

Galaxy S21@locololus You need to try turning off Ethernet tethering OFF. You only use that if you are sharing your phone's mobile connection to an Ethernet device. You wouldn't use it if you are trying to connect your phone to Ethernet.
