Galaxy S21
My Galaxy S21 is supposed to shoot 12megpix, but my images are only 2 megapixels. How do I increase the megapixels when taking images?

Galaxy S21You will only see full sized, 12mp images if you shoot in Pro Mode and raw (. Dng) All other are compressed into .jpeg or. heic images. With those images you can tell if they are 12mp by their pixel size.
Looking in Gallery and then Details, a typical .jpg image is around 4MB file size and the pixel size is 3000x4000 or 12mp
The same pixel sized, 4000x3000 raw (.dng) image which is not compressed as much is typically between 20-24MB in file size and is still 12mp (4000 X 3000 = 12,000,000 (12mp)).
