Not able to change album covers in Samsung music

Unsupported file error when I try to change album covers in Samsung music. Was on the phone with a technician for almost half an hour. They were unable to resolve the issue. Submitted a "ticket", got a message seven hours later that the "request has been completed." I don't know what they "completed" but I'm still having the same problem. In the past I was able to change covers. Now no matter what I do I can't.

Just curious, does this impact the sound quality? If not, why is this such an issue?

No, it doesn't. It's the principle. I wanted to know why I could do this in the past, but I can't do it now. I couldn't have cared less if I didn't have the album cover art work. Samsung customer support was no help. I did more research and found out I needed a PDF reader installed to be able to change the cover art. Why didn't the Samsung support tech even know this?

Just updated my samsung music app and seem to have lost the ability to change the cover art for any albums. Am I missing something? Why would they remove this feature?

Yes, I can no longer add or change album art. The option is removed. Wondering if Samsung Music has any intention of fixing this?

Just updated samsung music on my Samsung g20 phone. Lost some (but not all) album covers. Could not restore them. Anyone else have this problem?

You can try to delete the app data or cache so it will load every album cover again. This will not work if you manually added the covers though

Samsung Music is no longer letting you change the album art all at once for an album. Very frustrating...
