Notification Sounds Not Working/Intermittent

I'm using a US S21 with the latest unlocked firmware.

My text and app notification sounds are intermittent, often just not working. The speakers passed diagnostics, but there's no sound. 

I've factory reset the device, tested it in safe mode, and still the issue persists. Any ideas?

My s23 Ultra has had the same problem for like 2-3 weeks now. Speakers passed test as well.

Check to if you have "do not disturb" enabled

I do not have Do Not Disturb on, no.

Did you check the volume level for your notification sounds?

All volume levels are maxed, and speakers are playing audio just fine, but notifications are still not working.
