I have read tons of postings(same or similar) and very few solutions.

1.  fingerprint sensor no longer working...says "needs calibration, call samsung".

This may not be related to sound problems.

2.  Notification sound is not working.  But like others, I discovered it does work if I am playing sound at the time, like a youtube video.  I also found the notification sound works if I am using my bluetooth headset.  Just to be clear, it does not work when bluetooth is disabled and I am not playing music.

3.  Bottom speaker is not working.  I tried all the combinations in *0#*0#

4.  I have checked all the settings recommended in all the posts I have read,

and many users have identical situation.

5.  Please advise.  If I backup everything ( samsung or google),  can I bring my phone to uBreakIfix,  and restore everything when I get my repaired phone back(surely they will do a factory reset)?
