I ordered, directly from Samsung, a Galaxy S21 FE 5g.  Getting simple answers has become a nightmare. The rep who handled the sale assured me a charger was included, not true, so a little skeptical about other questions he answered.  My S8+ has screen burn so bad that it is in the background of everything.  So, rep informed me this was different technology, no screen burn.  Do I need a screen protector, no one is already installed.  I am still trying to repair from Hurricane Ian, so this was a huge purchase for me, one I'm not sure I should keep.  I have called the 800 number and both times a supervisor was going to call me back, 2 days, nothing. Any advice would be appreciated.  If a screen protector is needed, does the added thickness make typing or game play (Words with Friends) difficult.  Thank you so much.

Mine came with a charging cable but not a charging brick. I believe this is normal... though I think it should have came with a brick as well personally.

If the screen isn't messed up then I'm sure it's fine.

Thank you for the info. I just don't want to start using this phone, still in box, if it has any history of screen burn down the road.  And, yes, I received a cable also, but no "brick" as the rep told me would be included. Thank you.

I think the screen will be fine. You do have the 1 year warranty if something like screen burning happens.

For screen protectors I got one of these on mine - [3 Screen Protectors+3 Camera Protectors][Support Fingerprint] Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G https://a.co/d/awc08bJ

It comes with 3 tempered glass shields incase you install one wrong the first time or if it gets cracked protecting your device. I never use cases on my phones but that's just me, it keeps the battery cooler and long lasting. The protectors should give you good drop insurance but probably not as good as a case.

@Katbo, all the newer S21 and up I believe, no longer come with the charging equipment, as they seem to feel like using the previous one, if you had one, it will be sufficient. They say that all for each phone from S21 and up are the same. Plus, its another way for all companies to sell the accessories separate.
I have a "InstaProtek" screen cover for my S21 and its been great as far as touch screen without issues.
In Settings-Display- Touch Sensitivity- in the display options to change the sensitivity of the touchscreen for the screen protection cover's. You can also add screen savers to your display when you put your phone to sleep, just like a computer monitor does, and it is also in the Display settings, near the bottom of the page. You can do multiple options. As well as have a "theme" for your phone display background and out many different photos that will scroll through each time you "wake" your phone.
Remember when headphones used to be included as well and they no longer are since S21(ime) they do have wired headphones that will fit a S21 as long as the plug in portion is the squared shape Usb-C type and not the round one. I didn't think they even allowed for wired headphones at all, until researching for wireless headphones. I hope all this is helpful for you. Good luck. And not to disrespect tlatch7's suggestion on the hard screen protector, I had one in the past and mine scratched up like a ring on a glass window and were a bit tougher to type on at times. Just my experience, may not be tlatch7's, their experience may be excellent. Again, Good Luck.

Thanks for the info.  I have searched Amazon and Walmart.  Where are the InstaProteks available?

Thank you!
