S21: Cannot view items in trash in Gallery App

I get this image when trying to view deleted items in my trash in the default gallery app. It doesn't happen for newly deleted items, but it broke all my other images before that point. Does anyone have a solution?

That's normal, in order to view, you'd have to recover the file

It won't let me recover them though

Open the trash bin under My Files app and try to recover from there

It just gave me the same problem, "couldn't restore 1 image"

Could be corrupted, did you try rebooting your phone

As in restarting or backing it up and resetting it?

Just a basic reboot, power down and turn back on

Unfortunately the reboot didn't do anything

Don't believe a reboot would solve or do anything the files seem to be corrupted could be a app or softest issue
