Galaxy S22OK, this is a weird one. I noticed something, a few of contact names are changing (or adding already existing contacts numbers under new names). For example, my ex wife, the mother of my children, let's say her name is Mary. I have her stored in my phone as Mary. But a few times, I see a text or call from her, and it comes in as "mom". I have my mother stored as mom, but now my kid's mom is being called "mom" and not "Mary". I noticed the same thing when I tried to email myself a link as a reminder, it sent it from "dad", like my son has me stored in his phone. No, I don't have his account in my phone as well. I don't manage his account from any apps in my phone either. He is 19 years old. Now, I went through my contacts and saw that I still had my ex as "Mary" in my contacts, but also had a 2nd contact as "mom" with my ex's number, I never put her in as mom, ever. I'm thinking there was some sort of "crossed streams" (ghostbusters pun there) that put his contact "mom" into my phone using same number. I also noticed a 2nd "dad" contact in my phone. One of them was my dad, and the other had my cell number in there. I deleted both the extra "mom" and "dad" which were my number and my ex's number. I still retained my parents as mom and dad. It seems it hasn't happened again...yet... but has this happened to anyone? Is there some sort of "auto" import of contacts from other contacts via text messaging? I recently switched to Google Messages, my son is holding off and still using Samsung Messages. Let me know, people.

Galaxy S22@Frankie1226 Are you both using a single Google account? or a single Samsung account?

Galaxy S22I don't think that we have the same Samsung account. There are so many contacts that this could have happened with, but did not. My parents, his grandparents in-laws, his grandparents, my sister, his aunt. But just for poops and giggles, how would I check his Samsung account on his phone?
