My app screen is full of these "ghost apps". When I tap them, it sends me to the Play Store to install them, I can't interact with them other than moving them into folders or onto the home screen, and they don't show up in the app settings either. Basically, they just clutter my app screen. I've moved them into a trash folder, but that's not an actual solution. I don't want them to be there. I'll attach a picture.

They have been archived, so you can't delete some of them but you can go to apps and remove them or disable them. They will be removed from your view. You can also remove them from the home screen and you can hide them in the app drawer.

Non of the apps in the picture show up under the"apps" tab within the settings. I hid them away in a folder within the app drawer, but I'd prefer to remove them completely. Is there really no way to clean up my app drawer? I've disabled the YouTube app, and it doesn't show up in my app drawer either, so how come YouTube Music (which has never been on my phone to begin with) does show up and can't be removed?

I've seen this, I restored a backup on my older phone and the apps didn't actually install but I ended up with the icons, have you tried to reinstall the apps?

YES, that actually works... somehow. Thanks a lot. I don't know the specifics of why this occurred, since I never had some of these apps installed, even on my old phone, but I did load a back up, so it's got to be related to that. Thanks again!
