Messages app change with latest update

Since the last update, May 24, 2024, the Messages app (white thought bubble) gives a Delivery confirmation after hitting Send. Can this be turned off? I'm not interested in receiving this confirmation message. I don't see any settings related to this in the app permissions.

I am assuming you are talking about Samsung Messages, white bubble 3 dots.
Open the open, go to settings, more settings, text, messages, turn off delivery receipts.
