Also, If you started using the Bubbles notifications feature on your device, you may have accidentally set some contacts or conversations as exceptions in the Messenger app. To fix this, you can make sure Bubbles notifications are turned on and then check the settings in the Messenger app. This way, all of your text notifications will appear.
