Photos/Videos Not Saving In Gallery

I have a S22 Ultra and there have been 2 instances where I have gone to take videos and pictures and they did not save to my Gallery. There is nothing in my Trash and I have downloaded deleted data backup apps to no avail. Is this an ongoing issue? Is anybody else having the same issue? Please let me know. Thank you.

Have you checked the trash in the files app? Or the samsung cloud if you use that. Or onedrive?

Everytime I take a photo it doesn't save in gallery. It just shows a reloading circle symbol.   How do I fix this?

Hey there @ABizzle631! This sounds like it may be a syncing issue, but have you tried clearing the data of the gallery app? That can be done through Settings>Apps>Gallery>Storage>Clear data (bottom).

How can I recover pictures I took? I seem to have lost several pictures I took

When my phone suggests cleaning out my photos I can't retrieve when I cleaned them out I never deleted them I want to access them

The update did nothing for me. I got lucky and found a 2 year old video on youtube that worked on my Fold 5. None of my pics were deleted following these steps/video.
