RCS suddenly stops working

RCS has always worked for other samsung users on my phone. When apple updated RCS Messaging it worked for 3 days. Now only SMS/MMS works for Androidand IOS. I use the Google messages but tried samsung mesages too. I tried turning on RCS but it says not available for this carrier but I have Verizon. I've been on the phone with Google, Samsung, and Verizon for 3 hours. Any one else experiencing this since 9/21/24?

yes many times! and turned off/mobile network, cleared cache. all the things

To the issue the ios added rcs mentioned isn't full rcs it's more or less a step towards it to be compatible

I understand that. It doesn't have some features. But I feel like RCS should still work with other samsungs

True if they're using Google messages it should be rcs as for ios it won't be until they work it out better

ok I feel like it's a "my phone thing" messing up. I'm gone give it a few days before I contact my insurance.
