Has anyone else been experiencing very fast battery drain with 5g on in standby mode? I'm unable to even get through the day with this. Up until 15 percent this battery drains so quick. I've also had power saving mode on but to no avail

It could be due to the fact that your phone is in a low signal area, and is constantly trying to connect, or that you're being bounced around different cell towers. Have you performed any troubleshooting steps, like resetting your network settings, or reached out to your carrier about this yet?

Kindly update here if resetting network settings worked, or if the problem was on your carrier's end.

I am experiencing the same issue. I am in a 1 to 2 bar area but it was ok until this latest update. I work from home so use WiFi constantly.

I'm also having the same issue. The minute I take my off the charger at 100%, it immediately goes to 99% and is constantly draining. Been happening since the update. My phone went from 100% to 80 in 22 mins

Hey there! I can certainly understand how frustrating it is when your device's battery is draining more than designed. I have this article that may help (http://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001388/).

If you complete the troubleshooting and the issue persists I would suggest having a certified technician take a look at the device.

You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by calling customer support at 1-800-726-7864. For service outside of the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html  I do apologize for any inconvenience.

Thank you for being the best part of Samsung!
