Ever since I bought my S22, I have not been able to play my music on the Samsung Music app. I've called Samsung before but have not been able to get it resolved. My music still shows there but when I hit play it super skips track after track. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Found it. When I press and hold audio file it takes me to the tracks and when I press on a track it says, sorry this player does not support this type of audio file.

@Chinche That would definitely be the reason why you haven't been able to play your music then! 😪

So, the phone's player can't play my ripped music? Even though my old S7 played them?

@Chinche I hate to say it, but that seems to be the case in this instance. It would be helpful if I knew which extension the audio files are in, because Samsung Music supports mp3, m4a, mp4, 3gp, 3ga, ogg, oga, aac, and flac audio files.

Ok, I'll have to find which file it's under. Thank you for all your help & patience.

Open the My Files app on your phone and please see the pictures I've included.

Ok, did this. After each track it reads wma. Internal storage/music. Does this mean anything?

@Chinche Yes, they are Windows Media Audio files. Unfortunately they won't be compatible with the Samsung Music app on your device. You will have to convert the files to a different audio format for them to work in that app. They will work in some other apps though. I'm pretty sure VLC for Android will work.
