GOOGLE MESSENGER/THEME PURCHASED

They want everyone to convert to Google Messenger and not use the regular messenger anymore. BUT I HAVE PURCHASED TOO MANY THEMES OVERTIME. AND GOOGLE MESSENGER DOES NOT DISPLAY THE color of the THEME IN THE GOOGLE MESSENGER:double_exclamation_mark: so technically if you use Google Messenger you wasted a lot of money purchasing themes from the Google store.. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED ASAP AND MAYBE I WILL SWITCH OVER TO GOOGLE MESSENGER :double_exclamation_mark::double_exclamation_mark::double_exclamation_mark::double_exclamation_mark:

Yep I already did... If you're not able to use your theme then you definitely wasted a lot of money purchasing them.... NOW UNLESS THEY'RE GOING TO DO PEOPLE A REFUND THEN OKAY

I'm pretty sure samsung messenger is still gonna have support just not in the USA , so you will still be able to use it a long time (I hope) I think samsung messenger has better features that I actually need/ use

Also I think the issue is caused by service providers messing with the os instead of just pushing what samsung sends in an update. For example Verizon doesn't let you get full rss messages support among other things and other carriers do this stuff too

This ☝️ :hundred_points: I have been posting this same thing on 100's of other posts people don't understand it is really the carriers controlling RCS Messaging I myself have an Unlocked S24 Ultra on Spectrum/Verizon and use Samsung Messages and I have RCS Messaging (just not all of the features of Google Messages) it also works with messaging Apple phones

I have an unlocked S24 plus but I couldn't activate RCS with Samsung messages. Last time I tried to switch to Samsung messages, I didn't even get thr option to have RCS....not sure why. I also have Verizon but bought my phone completely unlocked and independent from Verizon.

I have some themes now that won't even work ever since we got the updates. SMH... Using the Dial actually displays the theme. But the text message portion doesn't

I switched to textra, highly customizable, free and works perfectly and I use g board with it

Honestly, i don't mind using Google Messages, my dad uses it and some of my older brothers use it, works fine for me

Google Messenger is fine. It's nothing wrong with Google Messenger. BUT I PURCHASED A LOT OF THEMES OUT OF THE PLAY STORE. AND THOSE THEMES COME WITH SPECIAL DESIGN TEXT MESSAGE DISPLAY that cannot be used on Google Messengers...

So pretty much if you purchase a theme from the Play store you pretty much just wasted your money because you can't use it and And it's entirety... IT'S ALMOST LIKE YOU'RE SPINNING YOUR MONEY JUST FOR A HOME SCREEN WALLPAPER AND ICONS..
