I got the s23 ultra about 3 months ago and had zero problems initially. After about a monthi noticed people were calling but nothing was coming thru on my end. The only reason I noticed I missed a call because the caller left me a VM. If started as sporadic and now is nearly all the time. However if I switch my network to 4g I have zero issues. This includes using wifi calling. If the 5g is enabled even on wifi calling the call won't come thru. I switch to 4g and everything is fine! I've called the carrier tmobile and they couldn't resolve this I also replaced my Sim card Saturday and it's doing the same thing again! I don't have any sort of call blocking on, the calls are from people I speak to daily. Does anybody know of a fix or has anybody else had this issue? This is driving me insane!

Interesting! Like you, this was driving me nuts!! I tried everything I could think of without luck ... Never would have thought about turning off 5G

So I've had 4G only the past several days and have no issues (I'm aware of anyway). Going to toggle 5G back on and see how it goes.
Question is, if having 5G on is indeed the problem, who is at fault?! T-Mobile or Samsung?? šŸ¤”

Good question that we will probably never get an answer to. And I guarantee if it's the same issue I'm having you may get a handful of calls switching back to 5g before it takes a dump again. I switched mine back for a day and periodically would call it from my work phone. Zero issues all day! Then within a day or two it took a dump again! I'm now back on 4G waiting to hear of or find a fix somewhere.

Yeah, this is a  situation ... Although I came to the realization today that, for me, I don't feel the battery drain of 5G is worth it. Not like the battery is bad on this phone at all, but when I was rocking 4G the past few days I was amazed at how long my phone was lasting. Today, my first day back to 5G, I'm definitely noticing a difference!

Think I'm just going to go back to my Pixel 7 Pro. My son comes to me a while ago and asks why I didn't reply to his text ... never got it. (I've also had issues sending him texts on occasion). Decided to throw my SIM in my 7 Pro just to see what happens and his text came through almost immediately. This has been an ongoing issue with my son's texts and I don't know why. Never an issue when using my 7 Pro šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€:male_sign:

There's so much I really love about the S23U but it has to be able to reliably deliver calls and texts. Sadly that's not the case right now šŸ˜”

Just an update. I tried every conceivable "fix" I could find online and nothing improved. I also visited a tmobile store and replaced my Sim card, nothing helped. My last option was to do a factory reset and see if there was an app causing the issue by installing them one by one and seeing what happened. Before doing that I switched a week ago from Tmobile to AT&T and so far I've yet to miss a call! (Knock on wood) I'm thinking it was either a tmobile app or the network having some sort of issue with my device.
