These are the worst preorder trade-in deals ever. How dare Samsung try forcing us to sign contracts for 36 months with carriers to get the best deals. Gen Mill and Gen Z hate contracts. People need to boycott till they drop the prices for unlocked trade. For the previous s22 and fold and flip 4 models. CLEARLY SOME PEOPLE ARE BRAINWASHED STILL GETTING THEM. Sadly looking for clout as well. How pathetic.

Yes, these are based on Samsung's alleged trade in values. I'm sure there'll be more incentives but based on pure phone value, I believe these values will be pretty close.

I'll wait until August again when the trade in value will be 900 dollars towards the 23 ultra

I traded my s21 ultra in towards the s22 ultra the value of the 21 ultra was 900 that was in August last year but in February when samsung came out the s22 ultra the value was lower

I waited 1 month after Pre-Orders were done for S22 Ultra and Samsung offered $700 off for my S20 Ultra with a broken screen.  So my plan is to see what the trade in offers are (at least $700 and I will upgrade) if it's $590 then I will wait after pre-orders to see.

I did see that picture, but from that same article it states to expect $800 off for the S22 Ultra.  So I think it was just going off the current trade in prices it shows on the Samsung Website.  These trade in prices don't usually reflect the trade in price you will get during a pre-order special.  I believe you will get $1000 off for trading the Galaxy Fold.  $800 for the S22 Ultra based on previous Pre-Orders.

I agree. Only seeing 500 on my end. There is a ZERO percent chance I'm trading in my s22 ultra for less than 700

Why is the 1TB capacity only available in the unlocked version -not for the carriers?  This was and is still the case with the Fold 4 and again it appears to be the case with the S23.  It shuts us out of getting the carriers' better deals if we want the higher capacity.

Samsung has kept the 1TB model exclusive to them.
