Hi fellow Samsung S23 users, I recently encountered an interesting issue with my Samsung S23 device and wanted to reach out to the community for some assistance. Whenever I turn on my phone, instead of the usual fingerprint recognition prompt, I am greeted with a heart beating animation. While it's quite a unique feature, I'm having trouble accessing my device. I would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this matter. Has anyone else experienced a similar situation with their Samsung S23? If so, could you kindly share your experiences and any potential solutions you've come across? Thank you all in advance for your time and support. I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully finding a solution to this intriguing problem.

Can't help with your phone, but with my s22+ it helps if I lick my thumb and wipe it off, then press on the screen. Once you get in, go change the settings for turning the phone on. Hope it helps.

Hi Gigi09, Welcome to the Community. The animation sounds interesting; however, we understand the difficulty of not being able to access the phone. There are some steps to try to improve the fingerprint sensor.

1. This article provides some helpful tips, in addition to some troubleshooting. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01200322

2. Try powering the phone completely off, then powering on in Safe Mode. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/

3. You can also try rebooting the phone from the recovery menu.

To get to recovery mode:
- Turn off phone
- Once off, hold down volume up and power buttons simultaneously
- When Samsung logo appears, release power button BUT KEEP HOLDING VOLUME UP until the recovery menu appears

- Use volume buttons to navigate

- Use power button to select.

Options under this menu that may help include: Clear Cache Partition, Repair Apps, Reboot phone now.

4. SmartThings Find may allow you to unlock the phone remotely. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001570/
