Unless your transferring them somewhere within the Samsung Gallery app or moving them to Secure Folder, they would no longer be grouped, as that is a Gallery feature.
But anytime you move them out of Gallery, like when using Smart Switch, which puts the in Samsung Cloud service before adding them back to your new phone, they loose the grouping data and you have to regroup them.
