Hey all

So I just got my S24 Ultra a few weeks ago, and I've noticed that whenever I'm streaming anything (whether it be on WiFi or cellular data) on TikTok, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube, Instagram Reels, etc., the video gets choppy/laggy randomly, and as soon as I touch the screen it becomes smooth again, or it smoothens out after a few seconds and then gets back to being choppy/laggy. Has anyone else has this issue?

Samsung support couldn't help one bit - They pretty much told me reset my settings, which I did, and it still didn't fix the issue. Once I told them that it was still persisting, they recommended I take it to a UBreakIFix store and they couldn't help me either and said they don't know why Samsung would even send me to them.

I've been having the same problem. Reset my phone and reached out to Samsung. Every 10 to 15 seconds it gets a tiny video frame lag. Also reached out to my carrier thinking I got a defective device and couldn't return my device. I've had it for 3 weeks.

I have the same issues as well with s24 ultra. It was on prime video and as soon as I touch the screen the lag goes away but then comes back a few seconds later. Tested it few times and every time I touch the screen when it becomes laggy it will go away.

I've called Samsung about this issue I've emailed them I know what the reason is The reason is the stupid adaptive refresh rate resorts to playing all streaming content except for the fact of YouTube in 24 frames per second. Even though film is recorded in 23.97 frames a second when you watch TV shows on your TV there is something called I believe it's three to one pulldown and you end up with a result on your TV watching it at 60 frames a second and there is no lag. I told them to fix this issue even if you take it off adaptive refresh rate and put it into standard standard is also adaptive now but at 10 Hertz to 60 Hertz and it's still problematic when you touch your screen the lag goes away for a couple of seconds because it recognized your touch and the frames per second adapted to 120 which is why when you touch your screen the lag will go away for a couple of seconds and then come back it's kind of sad even though I spent a half hour on the phone with Samsung heavily invested in explaining to them what the problem is they haven't fixed it.

I'm having this problem also and just turned off "tethering hardware acceleration" in dev options. Seems to have fixed this. Don't know what the negatives are to this though.

hello please translate.
