Google Text Messaging panel

How do I remove this panel that pops up when I type a text message? I'm pretty sure it's a setting but no clue with one.

It's not a toolbar for the keyboard it's Google messages toolbar cannot be removed. What you described will remove the tool bar included on samsung keyboard.

It's a new shortcut bar "feature" of Google Messages.

Non-removable at this time.

There's a thread in Googles own forums about it and been trying to get them to make an option to remove. Let me see if I can find it when I have access to my desktop.

Uninstall updates and then turn off auto update would be my best guess.
